We have moved on from tissue paper this week, to the ladies relief! 😆
Instead we were stamping and colouring with Distress inks.
The ladies started by creating the beautifully stamped backgrounds. They stamped the two floral stamps, then applied heat embossing powder and heated to give that raised effect. Once this was complete, they got to work colouring the flowers and leaves in their desired colour.
The backgrounds were die-cut -using two square dies to create frames, making sure that they were nicely aligned, was key! The matt layer was die-cut in the same way , but the square dies were smaller so the each layer became smaller towards the centre.
