The Old Mill House

Another very warm day but we battled through the heat to create these two beautiful cards in our Craft Workshop this morning.

We used the Two Jays clear stamp - Mill house and Nellie Snellen clear stamp -Cornfield and Country Road.

The slider cards are from CrafTreat . Pre-cut and scored which takes the stress out of making these cards all is needed is some patterned papers and decoration .

We're saying it with flowers.

Today in our workshop our lovely ladies used a technique called ink dragging. A method of blending various colours on the de-embossed topper which involved applying colour and then dragging a black ink pad over the area. With very effective and stunning results.

It was the day of our Cream Tea workshop and the lovely ladies made a very stylish Recipe Folio Album with stacked pockets, a side pocket and an expanding flap pocket. Holds 10 recipe cards, notes , coupons and any other items you need to keep tucked in a pocket inside the album.

 Today we battled yet another heat wave to create these lovely basket of flowers. These designs look fresh out of the garden. We weaved, die cut, and blended and made a card for any occasion.

 A bit cooler this week for our card making workshop. Using the delightful "Dogwood" clear stamp set from Two Jays we created these two beautiful cards .

With Kraft card as our base card and smooched backgrounds on both kraft and white card using distress inks and a white pigment pad gave a lovely effect. The dogwood stamp was used as a focal point on the front of each card.

Today we battled the heat to produce this lovely 'Box of Delights'.

We used napkins to produce this lovely flowered box and die cut the bird cage and birds.

 Splash and Roar was our workshop today. Preparing for Fathers Day or a male friend or family member's birthday. We painted, ink-smooched, blended and had a great time designing.  Another great workshop. We had the ladies in a tangle with winding their thread around the circle frames and dots before their eyes but it was worth it . The results were lovely .

We used Nellie Snellen Motive stamps - Misty Forest ( TXCS017) and Bubbles (TXCS013) along with circle nesting dies and a dotty embossing folder from Creativ (11775)

Today the ladies kept cool under their umbrella grasses. A stunning mix of colours and shimmer. This card would please anyone for any occasion. They used Woodware Craft Collection stamp set 'Umbrella Grass' (JGS752) and Spellbinders 'embossing folder/Ripples (SES-004)

 Todays workshop we made two cards both with butterflies. They were our Wings of Joys. We used various techniques including blending using distress inks, distress spritz and distress oxide . We die cut and embossed backgrounds. All the cards were different but amazing. Well done ladies.

Thank you ladies for a great day crafting. A few little mishaps with the hot glue guns and missing gems , but all worth it to end the day with these beautiful wreaths .

 Sometimes less is more.... so this weeks workshops were relaxed, but still lots of fun.

With embossed backgrounds, die-cut apertures and a little bit of stamping, colouring and fussy cutting the ladies created these two lovely cards .

 Today we made cards using Distress Inks making some splat backgrounds. The brighter the colours the better. These cards were great fun to make and would make a great gift for any age, No two cards were the same as you can see from the ladies finished cards.

 We are excited to release our first cream tea craft workshop this year.

Hessian Floral Wreath is on Tuesday 12th May 10am - 2.30/3.00pm

You will be making and decorating a covered wreath. Learn how to make hessian flowers . Enjoy a cream tea at noon (scone, jam and cream) and then continue to finish making and decorating your Wreath .
