Again the Peel off has been coloured with Distress Ink Pads in Faded Jeans,Peeled Paint and Mustard Seed, but this time it has been layered onto patterned background card and some embossed blue card to give texture. On both cards the sentiments have been stamped using a set designed by Jane Gill where you can mix and match the sentiments and trimmed with Card Candi

Framed Sentiments......one clear frame stamp but two different looks.

The complete frame has been Brayered with ink and stamped onto cardstock. The centre has been removed to create an aperture and then it has been layered with foam tape over a stamped sentiment .

The background has been created by stamping the frame diagonally around the card using a Perfect Medium pad and Clear Embossing Powder, then using Distress Ink pads with Cut n dry foam ,rub the ink into the card varying the colours to give a mottled look. The embossed area will show white if using white card or the colour of cardstock that has been used.

The topper in the middle of the card is made in the same way as the card above, but the background has been Brayered using a  Kaleidacolour Rainbow Dye Ink Pad- Blue Breeze.

Floral Lace

Pocket cards are wonderful if you want to give a card with a purpose. It's a Greetings Card and Gift all in one. Here we have made a 4 inch square pocket card and 2 smaller cards as notelets which fit inside.

The toppers are 3 stamped images which have been decoupaged. Reduce the size of each layer by leaving out elements on each layer and then layer with Foam Pads or Tape.On the front of the card the second layer has been covered in micro beads using double sided adhesive sheet to attach the beads.Using Purple and Lime green together gives a fresh look, but how wonderful this would look in other colours!

A much more of an elegant card- Pink Pansies.Again the topper is 3 stamped images decoupaged, but the middle layer has been covered with Micro Beads.

Products used were :-
Marianne Design Cling Stamps - Floral
Micro Beads
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Decorative Labels One

Black and Gold...

We have been having fun with techniques today and ended up with mucky fingers. You haven't had fun Crafting if you don't make a mess.

Black and Gold make striking cards, here we have embossed black mirri card and layered that onto black cardstock which has been edged with Golden Light Gilding Wax.The centre topper is an embossed frame with a stamped image in black with an overlay stamped with the same image but heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

We have used Vintage Golen Green Gilding Wax on dark and light cardstock with differing results. We also embossed the cardstock and then highlighted the embossed area with Gilding Wax as you can see in the Black and Green Ease Card.
The green swirl design is from the Creative Expressions Autumn Blessings Unmounted Stamps. The design has been stamped onto Heat Emboss Acetate and embossed using an Opaque Moss Green Embossing Powder. The acetate overlay has been attached with Brads.

The Flower embellishments have been die-cut from black cardstock, embossed using an embossing folder and then rubbed with Gilding Wax.
