This week at our workshop ladies made two beautiful Christmas
Bendy Cards


    

   Materials: Foundation card in white, beige, dark green and black; kitchen roll sheet; Distress Ink pads in Dusty Concord, Rusty Hinge, Forest Moss, Fired Brick, Faded Jeans; Pixie Powder in Teal Wash and Midnight Blue; Fluffy Stuff, Cosmic Shimmer Diamond Frost and adhesives.

Tools: Embossing folders: Snowflakes by Hobby Solution (HFSC009) and Tinsel Lattice by Sue Wilson (EF-098); Dies: Marianne Collectibles - Fence (COL1423), Marianne Creatables - Evergreen trees (LR0378, LR0379), Spellbinders –Santa Parade (S5-373); Woodware clear stamp Snowman Family (FRS340), paintbrush and scissors.

Techniques: Making cards using templates, stamping, embossing and die-cutting, using Distress Inks for water-colouring, matt & layering, embellishing…

What a treat!

On Saturday the ladies made wonderful baskets for those favourite treats.

We created a floral theme, but just think how wonderful the basket would look when made with Christmas Papers and filled with chocolates.

The  flaps lift up on both sides of the basket for easy access.

Hemp cord has been wrapped around the handle for extra strength.

Acetate apertures allows you to see what goodies are inside.

“Michaelmas Daisy”

 

Materials: Foundation card in white, light lilac, mustard yellow and various patterned paper; Distres Ink pads in Dusty Concord, Mustard Seed and Peeled Paint; 10mm gingham ribbon in yellow and green, and adhesive.

Tools: John Lockwood stamps: Michaelmas Daisy (UMS784) and The Language of Flowers – Michaelmas Daisy (CEC834), paintbrush, scissors and smoothie.

Techniques: Making cards using templates, stamping, using Distress Ink pads for water-colouring, matt & layering, embellishing…
