Daisy....

Another workshop this week and our ladies made two lovely cards using Sue Wilson dies, embossing folders and stamps.

A beautiful card in Gold which can be used for Wedding Anniversaries as well as Birthdays as shown here.

We have embossed a piece of cream vellum using the A4 Embossing folder - Bed of Roses (EF-037) and layered this on cream card.Two strips of Gold Pearlescent card have been die cut using the Italian Collection border die (CED1502),lay these over the vellum along the edges,trim off any excess.

Stamp the Filigree Frame stamp (UMS177) on cream card using perfect medium,heat emboss with Gold embossing powder.Cut out centre and cut off outside edges following the contours of the stamped image.Attach with foam tape in the centre of the card.Die-cut a complete set of Delicate Daisies - Complete petals (CED1417) , layer to make two flowers.Embellish card with Flowers and a sentiment tag.

This Vintage look has been created using floral patterned paper layered with a cream piece of cardstock embossed using the A4 embossing folder - Rambling Blossoms (EF-026).The top layer of patterned paper has been die-cut using the Gemini Die - Phoenix (CED4401) along the bottom edge.

The flowers are using the same Delicate Daisies die and the card has been trimmed with ribbon,bow and sentiment.

Noir et Chic....

 Noir et chic is a luxury collection of exquisite black and cream designs with rich detailed patterns. Bold designs with understated chic for all occasions, this range is wonderfully versatile.

In today's workshop our ladies made a Card using the Noir et Chic Paper pad and dies by Sue Wilson , Lea'bilities and Spellbinders.The embossed background was created using a Marianne Design Embossing Folder and Die set.

A Sweet Treat Box was also made using the same lovely papers.

 Ideal for giving a little treat to someone , 

especially those little chocolates in gold wrappers

Here's a couple of cards for Men....

We all know how hard it is to create Men's cards ,but we think that we have a created a couple which will impress the men.

We have used the wonderful clear stamp set - Carte Postale .

Viva Decor Stamp Set - Carte Postale

Postcards and Travel are combined together with embossed backgrounds giving a distressed look.

 Spring Blossom.....

We have been creating a card using the NEW Leane Creatief Blossom range.Within the range there is embossing folders, Dies and Stamps.

Embossed core'dination cardstock has been sanded and then lightly rubbed with gliding wax.

You can see the dimension you can achieve with layering the die-cut blossoms.The edges have been rubbed with Cosmic Shimmer Gilding wax to give a vintage look.

A lovely MDF Tag decorated with Vellum , Sparkle Glitter Paste ,a Rosette and die-cut embellishments.A beautiful little gift to give to someone.

 A rosette gives dimension,layered on a die-cut tag and topped with a blossom is wonderful.

Another blossom layered up for dimension and finished with a self adhesive pearl.

Two new makes this week........

wonderful Spring Greens and Yellows

We used a Dreamweaver stencil (LL3031) and applied Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Texture Paste - Sea Green.The flower heads were covered with Yellow Glitter which gives a Lime Green colour.It's great to play around with different colours of glitters over the wet paste through the stencils.

The background is a square piece of cardstock which has been die-cut with a Marianne Designs border die (LR0311) and then embossed with a Crafter's Companions Embossing folder - Lattice (EF6-LATT)

This card has Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels spread over double sided adhesive which has been applied to the green stripe backing paper.A layer of embossed cardstock  gives dimension.The embossing folder used is Creative Expressions Quilted Circles (EFPP-005).

The topper is a Dreamweaver stencil (LL549),again using Sparkle Texture paste and Yellow Glitter.

Oxalis.....

The Woodware clear stamp - Oxalis was used along with Distress inks - Peeled Paint and Mustard Seed used for the background.
The cardstock was inked randomly with distress ink and the sprayed with Perfect Pearls to give that shimmer look.
                

                  

The same technique has been used for the background as the card above, but this time the Distress inks used are Victorian Velvet and Stormy Sky.

Hope you agree they are two lovely cards.

Peonies and Daisies

Another workshop this week and two lovely cards made with this clear stamp set. (24455)

 We have stamped the flowers and heat embossed with clear embossing powder on black card for the background.The flowers have been stamped,coloured and die-cut to create a topper.The ribbon has been stamped using Distress Ink-Rusty Hinge so the colours co-ordinate.

 This card is ideal to use up all those strips of card /paper we have left over when we are making cards.Those strips make great flags.
