Two Days with Molly and George

We had two wonderful mornings creating these cards with the Molly Bloom stamps.The images have been stamped using Versafine Onyx Black ink pad and coloured using Distress ink pads are watercolours ,but any medium can be used.

George has been Station Master and Biggles for his activities.We used Spellbinder Dies for the mats and apertures.

Molly has been on a Picnic by the Riverbank.Again we used die-cut apertures and Shapeabilities.

Winsome Spray Stamp Set from Woodware.

Simple ,Elegant and Beautiful.Using the Winsome Spray stamp ,sections have been cut into squares giving a different look on each panel.Each panel has been heat embossed and coloured using the Cosmic Shimmer Mica Powders as paints,but you can use any medium.

A complete stamped image has been heat embossed,but this tme in Gold.Again it has been coloured with Cosmic Shimmer Mica Powders as paints.Graduated papers make wonderful backgrounds.

The last set in the series of the Fabulous Fashion Stamps.Another lovely and fun morning was had by our ladies who attended the workshop.

They were using the Grape Vine stamp set to create two beautiful cards.

One was a stepper card,we cheated a little in that the stepper card was already pre-scored(Papermania 6" x 6" white stepper cards and envelopes),but the toppers were all stamped using the Versafine Black ink pad and coloured using either Distress Ink Pads as watercolours or Spectrum Noir pens and a combination of both.

The other card is 5" x 7" card ,where we use a Multi Function Die-cut as a topper.All the die-cut flowers and leaves have been coloured using Distress Ink pads as watercolours but any mediums can be used.

With this ring,I thee Wed...

We want to share with you this lovely Wedding door hanger.Marianne Designs have some wonderful clear stamps and here we have chosen Don and Daisy -Just Married.The stamped image has been coloured using Distress Ink Pads and the hanger has been decorated using a selection of punched and die-cut shapes.The flower embellishments have also been made using a Marianne Designs Die- the flowers are rolled up from the outside edge and glued in the centre.A cluster of three adds that finishing touch.

We have used the same clear stamp Don and Daisy -Just Married,but we have also used a Marianne die to embellish the card along with die-cut flowers made in the same way as the ones on the door hanger.

I want to ride my Bicycle....

Yesterday our ladies in the workshop was using the Marianne Creatables Die - Vintage Bicycle to create two cards.One for the men and the other for the ladies.

Here we have cut and folded double-sided cardstock to make a frame .(For a 6" square card cut the cardstock 14cm x 14cm ,measure in from the outside edges at 1 1/2 cm intervals and draw 4 squares,emboss these squares and then cut diagonally both ways to the outside square then fold back each section contertina style. Glue down each layer .)Back frame with co-ordinating paper or cardstock.

Embossed metal foil adds a touch of luxury.We found that it is best to use Wax Paper when die-cutting the Bicycle as the spokes of the wheels are very intricate and the wax paper will release it much easier from the die.

This card is in monochrome,but it would work in any colour scheme.We made a photo pocket using the Spellbinders Marvelous Squares,a border using the Martha Stewart border punch-Doily Lace and a Vintage Bicycle die-cut.
