In this weeks workshop we created two cards and a small gift box .

Iris Folding behind the heart apertures using decoupage papers was perfect for these cards with a little bit of stamping for the sentiments and an embossed background which gives a bit of elegance.

'Pretty Petals' was the theme for today's workshop. We made two gatefold style cards using Two Jays stamps CTJJ214 Wild Rose and CTJJ211 Periwinkle which we painted using distressed inks in beautiful spring colours on a background of pretty patterned papers.  In today's 'Subtle Shading' card workshop, we made three beautiful cards.

The cards were stamped and embossed , then blended with distress inks. On some areas of the stamped image, the ink was lifted with a wet paint brush and a different colour was applied to create different effects. The wings of the Dragonfly were embossed with clear embossing powder allowing the veins of the wings to show through.

In today's 'Floral Wreath' card workshop, we made three beautiful birthday cards using napkins. We cut the wreaths out of the napkins and then decoupaged to give dimension onto embossed rich plum card and also white card, to create three different effects.
