HOW TO DO: Mixed Media
We know that taking up a new craft
can be a bit scary at times, so we thought we would give you some hints and
tips to get you started. The main point is don't be worried, just give it a go
and learn from your mistakes as no one is judging you!
What is it?
It is quite simply a piece of work
that uses several different mediums or materials to create.
How to create a master piece:
To start you want to cover your
project in a base layer using Gesso or Paint then you should apply the desired
base colour. Now it’s time to get creative, start adding different textures and
designs using the different mediums and tools you have, just keep going and
building upon each layer until you get your desired effect. It’s a simple as
that and don't be scared to get messy!
