Foundation card in Brunswick Green and Pearlescent Bright Gold, Gold Mirri card, Gold sparkling embossing powder,
15 mm Organza Gold Ribbon;

“Candy Cane”

This week our ladies created these two sweet cards using the following:

Materials:
White and black card, Paper towel, White poly ribbon; Pixie Powder in Scarlet Mist, Rich Gold and Teal Wash;
Matt Glue, Seal & Glaze; Distress Ink pads in Peacock Feathers and Fired Brick, Diamond Frost (optional);

Techniques:
Mat-layering, applying Pixie Powder, Water spraying, Heat Embossing, Die-cutting, Stamping, and Ribbon painting;

Tools: 
Spellbinders Holiday Die/Candy Cane Card front (S4-556), and Shimmer Spray bottle.

Advent Calendar Box

Over the course of two workshops (for two weeks) our Ladies created these amazing Advent Calendar boxes. It required lots of measuring, cutting and folding to make 24 small drawers and the frame. Then it was time to decorate: put the numbers on the drawers, cover the base with the light blue card, embellish each side in a different way and, finally, decorate the top of the box. It was all done in stages.

Materials:

Cardboard, Cardstock in White, Navy Blue and Duck Egg Blue, and coordinating patterned paper. Tim Holtz idea-ology Hitch Fasteners (TH92731) that can be substituted by beads or brads; Distress Ink Pads in Scattered Straw and Tumble Glass, Number Stickers, Add-ies Snowflakes by Joy crafts, and white ribbon.

Tools:
Winter Wishes Dolly (6002/0536) and Pine Trees (6002/0548) dies by Joy Crafts,
Stars die by Marianne Craftables (CR1321), 15mm (5/8”) Circle punch by Woodware, Christmas Rounds clear stamp by Woodware (FRCL184), Christmas Rose Stamp (UMS728) and Die collection (CED3052) by Sue Wilson.

Techniques:
Cutting, Stamping, Die-cutting, Painting, decorating with fasteners, ribbon, stickers, etc.
