Woodware have released these lovely clear stamps designed by Jane Gill which work very well together.They are great for creating backgrounds and toppers alike.

The following two cards have been created using the above stamps and by just using different colours they can be used for Men and Ladies.

This card is 6" x 6".Cut a piece of Dark Pink Card 14.5cm x 14.5cm,a piece of Mid Pink Card 11.5cm x 11.5cm,a piece of Gold Mirri Card 9.5cm x 9.5cm and a piece of Light Pink Card 9cm x 9cm.Layer all these together and mount onto front of card.

Cut a piece of white textured cardstock 8cm x 8cm,stamp the Grasses using a Perfect Medium /Clear Embossing Pad and Heat Emboss with clear embossing powder.Take a Distress Ink Pad - Victorian Velvet and run the ink pad over the embossed image covering the whole area.Leave to dry as the ink will soak into the cardstock giving a canvas look.Once dry mount in the centre of the card.Trim the layers with various border peel offs.

A5 Card -Cut a piece of white cardstock 14.5cm x 20.5cm and ink the edges with Distress Ink Pads graduating the colours to create a background.Mount this onto the front of the card.Cut a piece of white card 13cm x 19cm and a piece of mustard card 12.5cm x 18.5cm.Mount together and stick centrally to the front of the card.Trim around the edge of the background with Black border peel offs.

Take an A6 piece of cardstock,cut out an aperture.Lay over another A6 piece of white cardstock,ink through aperture with Distress Ink pads graduating the colours.Make sure the ink is dry before stamping the background stamp in black ink and heat embossing with clear embossing powder.Faux stitch around the edges.Mount in the centre of the card.

Cut a piece of white card 12cm x 4cm.Stamp with sentiment using graduated colours in Distress Inks.Trim with brads 1cm apart down both sides.Mount onto front of card across the background.

The Easter Bunny is coming and we have been creating cards for the occasion.

This is a 6" x 6" square card.Cut a piece of green card 14.5cm x 14.5cm,a piece of White/Green Dot Paper 14cm x 7cm and a piece of Green Gingham Paper 14cm x 7.5cm.Stamp the White /Green Dot paper with the "Happy Easter" banner stamp.Mount all the pieces together overlapping the Dot and Gingham Papers to give a neat edge.Trim with apiece of ribbon along the join.Mount onto front of card.

Stamp the Happy Easter banner , Egg and Bunny onto white cardstock.We've used Distress Ink pads as waterclours ,but you can use any media you choose.Cut out Letters ,Egg and Bunny.Die cut the Wrought Iron fence in green cardstock.Stick coloured letters over the stamped banner and the arrange the Fence ,Egg and Bunny at the bottom of the card.

This card has been created using the Easter Blessing stamp set from Personal Impressions.

Cut a piece of white cardstock 7" x 10" score and fold in half to create a 7" x 5" card.

Cut a piece of Green Patterned paper 17cm x 12cm,trim the corners with Yellow Gingham ribbon.Mount onto front of card.

Die-cut 2 x Spellbinders Labels Seventeen.Score the middle of one and glitter the edges,Cut the other one in half and trim the edges so they do not show behind the other one.Mould with a bone folder to give some shape and then stick the two half behind the glittered die-cut.This gives you a book effect.Attach pieces of ribbon so they hang down the spine of the book.Stamp 2 x Crosses ,1 x Scene and 1 x Cross with Daffodils onto white cardstock.We have coloured the stamped images with Distress Ink Pads.Cut out ,sandwich a piece of ribbon between the Crosses and attach to the spine.Mount other images onto book with foam tape and then mount the book onto the card with 2mm foam tape to give dimension.

Russian Dolls

Marianne Dies are wonderful for creating beautiful cards.Here we have used three creatables dies.

Take a 6 x6 inch sqaure card.Cut a piece of brown paper 14.5cm x14.5cm and mount onto front of card.Cut a piece of white card 14cm x 14cm,punch a 3" circle in the bottom left hand corner 2cm in from side.Weave ribbon on the back of card over the circle aperture.You will need 12 pieces x 10cm.

Take a piece of the ribbon and stamp with Sentiment.Stick to the white card 1.5cm in from right hand side,tuck under bottom edge.Mount onto front of card.

Cut a piece of brown paper 11.5cm x 5.5cm,stick to the card ,top right hand corner overlapping the ribbon.
Cut and emboss a Circle die-cut  and stick over the circle aperture.
Die-cut a Folklore Flourish,this is mounted onto the brown mat on the front of the card.

Die-cut two Russian Dolls from Vivelle (1 x Blue and 1 x Brown).Peel backing from blue doll and stick to a piece of card.In fill with the pieces from the brown doll.Cut out and mount this topper onto the front of the card.Trim with nailheads and glitter glue.

This card is 6 x 6 inches square with an insert.Cut a square aperture in the front of the card,measuring in 2cm from each side.Cut patterned paper 14.5cm x 14.5cm and stick to front of card.Using a knife, cut out the square of paper from the middle of the card.This is stuck to the middle of the insert.Trim around the aperture and square with border peel offs

Die-cut three Russian Dolls,fold each in half and glue back to back.Glue a piece of invisible thread between the dolls before gluing the last one together.Attach to the top of the card and trim with a Folklore Flourish.

Finish the card with flourishes and punched Flowers on the outside and inside corners of the card .

Urban Butterflies

This card is 6 inches square.Cut Kraft paper 14.5cm x 14.5cm,Patterned Paper 14cm x 14cm mount together and stick to front of card.Cut a piece of plain cardstock 11cm x 11cm,stamp the Urban Butterflies with Distress Ink Pad -Rusty Hinge and Heat Emboss with Clear embossing Powder.Mount onto fromt of card.

 Stamp the Urban Butterflies twice onto plain cardstock with Distress Ink pad- Rusty Hinge.Trim one to 9cm x 9cm and cut out the Butterfly on the other.Trim the corners with patterned paper and mount onto plain cardstock 9.5cm  x 9.5cm.Attach Butterfly ,lift wings to give dimension.Trim with adhesive gems.

Easel card using the Urban Butterfliy stamp.The front of the card is 6 inches square.Cut a piece of pink card 14.5cm x 14.5cm, a piece of white card 14cm x 14cm.Stamp the white card using a Perfect Medium stamp pad ,Heat Emboss using clear embossing powder.Ink with Distress inks- Bundled Sage and Worn Lipstick using Cut n Dry foam to create a background.Mount both pieces together.

Cut a piece of Pink cardstock 14.5cm x 6.5cm,a piece of white cardstock 14cm x 6cm and repeat the above process to create the stopper.Mount together with foam tape.This is glued to the base of the card.

Cut a piece of pink card 9.5cm x 9.5cm,stamp Urban butterfly onto plain cardstock using Distress ink pad - Bundled Sage,trim to 9cm x 9cm.Mount together and stick to larger mat.Tie ribbon around and then attach to front of card.

Stamp extra Butterflies (2 x Worn Lipstick and 1 x Bundled Sage),cut out an decouage onto front of card.Embellish with Nailheads.

A Touch of Vintage Lace

These cards have been created with inspiration from the Creative Expressions Project Book Vol 1.

A touch of Vintage Lace is elegance in itself.Embossed backgrounds,Die-cut Frames and Spellbinder die-cut Accents covered with Micro Beads all complement each other and the cards would look wonderful in an colour.

The square card is 15cm x 15cm (6" x 6").Cut a piece of Blue shimmer paper 13.5cm x 13.5cm,round corners and mount onto front of card.Cut a piece of white cardstock 12.5cm x 12.5cm,round corners and emboss.Die-cut centre using a circle die and then mount onto blue shimmer paper.Die-cut a frame from the Spellbinder Lacey Circles die set,glue this over the embossed white cardstock.

Make the Lace embellishment-stick a piece of double sided adhesive sheet to white cardstock,die-cut with Spellbinders Accents Die.Peel off backing and cover with Micro Beads.Die-Cut another Accent in white cardstock.Mount these two together with foam tape.Glue in centre of card.

Apply dots of Cosmic Shimmer Pearl White Glue around frame and leave to dry.Die-cut a piece of white card with Spellbinders Labels Twenty Two ,ink with Distress Ink Pad and stamp with sentiment.Mount onto Lace accent. Trim with a bow made with Silky Crush Ribbon.

This card is using the same Spellbinders dies,but creates a different look.

The card is A5 ,but measure and cut a 4cm strip off the front of the card.Cut a piece of brown cardstock 20.5cm x 10.5cm,white cardstock 20cm x 9cm-emboss .Round corners on both pieces and mount together.Trim with a piece of ribbon 6.5cm up from the bottom.Mount onto front of card.Die-cut a brown piece of card with Accent die,cut between flourishes and pinch to give dimension.Stick a piece of double sided adhesive sheet to white cardstock,die-cut with Accent die,peel off backing and cover with Micro Beads.Mount these two together with foam tape.Die-cut and stamp sentiment,mount onto Accents.Stick to middle of front of card.Die-cut two borders-one in brown cardstock and the other in white(with double-sided adhesive)cover with Micro Beads.Attach the borders down the side of card.Trim with a bow.
