Bubble Blooms

This weeks workshop had our Ladies creating cards using the Woodware Bubble Bloom stamps - Melanie and Lynell

This is a 6" x 6" square card.We used a light brown cardstock for the background (14.5 x 14.5 cm )and then layered 7 x 7cm squares of patterned papers leaving a small border around the edge.The topper is two layers - the first is a piece of white cardstock cut to 10.5 x 10.5cm , the corners have been inverted with a punch and the edges have been inked with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink.The other layer is 10 x 10cm , corners have been inverted ,stamped with the Bubble bloom stamp - Melanie , decorated with Peeled Paint Distress Ink (Leaves) and Card Candi -Clarissa

The second card the Ladies made was an aperture card , stamped with the Bubble Bloom stamp - Lynell. The aperture frame was cut in half, the top half embossed and the bottom half inked with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink. The card was trimmed with ribbon and bow. The stamped image has been coloured with Peeled Paint Distress Ink and decorated with Stickles Glitter Glue and Card Candi.

'Pretty in Pink' birthday wishes

Our two 'Pretty in Pink' workshops went very well this week.

We used for the first design:

Card stock in black & white,
Creative Expressions 'Daisy Burst' Embossing folder,

Creative Expressions 'Australian Collection - Sydney' Craft Dies,
Die'sire 'Happy Birthday' cut & emboss metal die,
Cosmic Shimmer metallic gilding polish in Indian Pink & Purple Mist, Mediterranean Blue & Copper Shine, Rich Red and Pearl Lustre, and various coordinating colours organza ribbons.

Happy Birthday Card & Tissue Holder Pocket Pack

This delightful Aperture card was made with patterned paper, a 'Joy Crafts' Retro Flower die was used to die-cut the flowers, they were cut individually and attached around the aperture . Copper nail heads used to decorate the centre of the flowers, the card was finished with white ribbon

Tissue Holder Pocket Pack

To make this lovely tissue holder :

Cut card 4 1/2" x 11" 

Score longest side at 1/2", 3" ,4", 6 1/2"

Die cut hole in first panel 

Fold each panel at score line then secure with glue at the back

Decorate each panel as desired!

On the one shown we used the 'Joy Crafts ' Retro flower Die and glitter domes were used to decorate the flowers.

These make great gifts decorated in any colour for Get Well , Birthdays and Christmas or why not make one for yourself and place it on your Craft Desk . You will always have tissues to hand.

'Shutter Cards'

These beautiful birthday cards were made in our workshop this week.......
The cards were decorated with Roses & a John Lockwood Peony element stamp...they were also embellished with ribbon & lace....
Mica Powders were used for the embossing and Sue Wilson Olive branch die was used on the top card to  finish off the look ...

Thank You Notelets and Box

The workshop had our Crafter's making Notelets and a Box .We used items that most Crafter's have in there stash.Frame Stamps , Sentiment Stamps , Embossing Folders for the Background ,Border Ounches, Stickles and Ribbon

On the lid of the box we stamped our design , embossed the background to give texture and trimmed with Ribbon

The frame stamp was used on the front of the Notelets and embellished with Stickles Glitter Glue.
