In today's "Blocks of Colour" Workshop, we experimented with creating backgrounds using blocks of colour. We then stamped and embossed on top and coloured with distress inks. No two cards were the same! We run weekly card making workshops every Thursday morning.  Something a little different yesterday in our cardmaking workshop.

Using a template to prick and sew the ladies created two lovely toppers combined with die-cutting and embossing they created some beautiful cards.

 These are the beautiful cards made in yesterdays' card making workshop.

Under the sea was the theme for these cards using the Sea collage stamp from Two Jays (JJ238) with hessian and plaited cord to frame the stamped image . The buoy adds the perfect touch keeping the nautical feel.

  The ladies made two 14cm x 18cm chipboard envelope books in our monthly workshop using beautiful botanical papers and embellished the front covers as desired .We used 5" x 7" envelopes attached to a spine , bound with ribbon and added chipboard covers.

 Star Explosion cards - well done ladies persevering with all the scoring and folding this morning to create two lovely cards.

These cards can be used and adapted for many occasions and are quite easy to make using double sided patterned paper for the inset.

 Another wonderful morning crafting. These beautiful cards are made using napkins .

The napkin backgrounds are stamped and then coloured using Distress Spritz making great toppers for cards.

Add a piece of ribbon , a bow and a sentiment and you have the perfect card.
