Sweet Sneakers

This week we held our first workshop for children. On Wednesday group of teenagers and on Thursday a group of ladies, our regular crafters made cards of two designs using clear stamp 'Sneakers' by Woodware.

The first design: ‘Happy Birthday!’
We started with 15 x 15 cm white card and used pink polka dot card (14 x 14 cm)
for the backgroundUsing Woodware punches we made circles (from a mauve card: 4.5 cm and from a white card: 3.5 cm in diameter); stamped a ‘Birthday circles’ clear stamp design by Wild Rose Studio on a pink polka dot card and then punched it with Woodware 1' circle punch.
Next, we stamped ‘Speakers’ design twice: on a white card (10.5 x 13 cm) and on a polka dot card; the latter we cut with scissors just above the sole and glue it to the corresponding parts of the sneakers on the white card; we painted shoelaces with pens. Then we punched a few flowers out of mauve and pink polka dot card to decorate the card; our finishing touches: mauve ribbon and 3 and 5 mm Silver Nail Heads as flower middles.

The second design: ‘Jeepers Creepers!’
We started with the same size, 15 x 15 cm, white card; for the background we used blue textured card (14.5 x 14.5 cm) and a white card (12 x 12 cm) that was embossed using the ‘Stars’ embossing folder by Marianne design. We stamped sneaker design on a white card and cut it with scissors, the stamped image of shoes was water coloured using Distress Ink pad: Faded Jeans. The card was trimmed with a string of stars (Die-cut) and a message box made from 5 x 5 cm blue and 4.5 x 4.5 cm white card on which we stamped “Jeepers creepers…" .

Our teenager crafters created these cards:

We hope you like our creations.

Till next week and happy crafting!

Shoes Glorious Shoes

Last Saturday at our workshop our Ladies created these beautiful cards using:

* All Glammed Up Shoe & Heels and Roses stamps,
* All Glammed Up Shoe metal die by Hearfelt Creation,

*embossing, and aqua painting with 'Distress Ink' pad.

For the background on this 6" x 6" square card we used purple and orange cardstock, orange card was embossed using 'Floral Trellis' embossing folder by Crafter's Companion, then we trimmed corners on both cards.

We stamped ‘All Glammed Up Shoes’ twice (the whole design and the flowers) on a white card stock, embossed it with silver and cut with scissors then, after letting it dry. Next we water-coloured designs using Distress Ink pads. Extra decoration: 'Cosmic Shimmer' silver glue and a ribbon with a bow.

To make the second card we, at first, stamped the white card folded in two using the ‘All Glammed Up Shoe’ – placing the fold on the shoe’s back so it can be opened as a card; next, we cut it with the ‘All Glammed Up Shoe’ metal die. Then we embossed the cut-out and water-coloured with ‘Distress Ink‘ pads. The flowers were stamped and cut (using the same stamp and die), embossed and hand-painted with water-colour, then attached to the card with foam tape.

We hope you like our fab creations. Till next time!

Flower Power

This week workshop our Ladies created cards of 2 different designs using the same Woodware Clear Magic stamp called ‘Mixed Bunch’.

This is a 6" x 6" gatefold square card. We used a bright orange card stock for the background (two panels: 6.5cm x 14.5cm and one panel: 10cm x 14.5cm). Using two ‘Distress Ink’ pads and smoothies on white cardstock (two panels: 6cm x x14cm) we blended the two colours together and then sprayed them with ‘Perfect Pearls’. We stamped ‘Mixed Bunch’ on a white card stock (one panel: 9.5cm x 14cm) and water-coloured design using the same two 'Distress Ink' pads. Then we put finishing touches: ribbon with bow  and a self-adhesive Pearl. Voila!

The second card was an A5 card; for background we used a black cardstock
(one panel: 20cm x 14.5cm). First, the Ladies blended two colours of ink from the ‘Distress Ink’ pads with smoothies, then they stamped the same ‘Mixed Bunch’ design on the coloured card and water-coloured the design with the same colours ‘Distress Ink’ pads.
Three flowers were stamped (using the same stamp), hand-painted with water-colour, sprayed with shimmering ‘Perfect Pearls’ and then cut out and added with foam tape.
The ‘Best wishes’ message is also a part of this stamp, it was backed with white card and attached with foam tape. The card was trimmed with ribbon.

We hope you like our creations this week. Till next time!
