In today's 'Subtle Shading' card workshop, we made three beautiful cards.

The cards were stamped and embossed , then blended with distress inks. On some areas of the stamped image, the ink was lifted with a wet paint brush and a different colour was applied to create different effects. The wings of the Dragonfly were embossed with clear embossing powder allowing the veins of the wings to show through.

In today's 'Floral Wreath' card workshop, we made three beautiful birthday cards using napkins. We cut the wreaths out of the napkins and then decoupaged to give dimension onto embossed rich plum card and also white card, to create three different effects.  Yesterday was the first workshop for 2024 and the ladies really enjoyed making these two lovely cards.

3D embossing folders (Flower corner PCD266 and Flower circle PCD265) were used . The embossed area was blended with ink , using a clear embossing pad and a brayer the ink was applied to the embossed area and then heat embossed using clear embossing powder allowing the colours to shine through.
