Stair Stepper Card

This workshop was all about creating two Stair Stepper Cards, one being circles and the other squares. Although they may look difficult to create they are remarkably easy.

It's just a case of cutting and scoring.

To start ,the ladies created the beautiful floral background you see on the circular card, by stamping onto blue card using a large A5 background stamp, which was then heat embossed. Then they lightly coloured the floral element using distress inks, and added a bit of sparkle too with a glue pen and glitter dust. Once the beautiful patterned paper had been created it was die cut into circles and matt and layered onto the base card.

The second card used both patterned paper and plain card, the card was embossed to add a greater dimension and blended with distress ink to highlight the pattern. Decreasing squares were cut to size and then matt and layered onto the base card.

   Pop And Flip Cards

This workshop focused on the unique design template of the card, that gives it a fun and interactive element The centre piece can be seen when laying flat and then once the card is opened it simply flips out to create a beautiful standing focal point.

To card was made using a combination of circle dies to create the focal point and a pop up mechanism added. Then it was simple case of matt and layering on a 6"x6" card base.

  Elegant Perfumery

This workshop consisted of, one card and one unique looking box, in the shape of a perfume bottle. This was such a great class it did involve lots of measuring and cutting which tested the ladies a little, especially in this heat. But I think you'll agree the end result is well worth it!

To card was made using Sue Wilson Perfume dies, layered onto some beautifully elegant embossed white card, using the Crafter's Companion Gemini 5" X 7" 3D Embossing Folder - Chantilly Lace.

The perfume box was out of three individual boxes, with the biggest box large enough to fit a small gift in. Once the boxes had been constructed, it was the a case of matt a layering, using the same embossing folder as the card.
