This weeks workshop; 

Stencil Mania  

Never to be under looked are the many different ways in which a stencil can be used and as such the versatility of design they create, which have been demonstrated through this weeks workshop. 

 

Each card has a unique stencilled background, simply apply your stencil on top of the card and then get blending, using either a smoothie or blending brushes or any desired ink pad which is suitable for blending. You can even go wild and mix it up with your colours.

 Just experiment and see what happens!  

On some machines your stencils can even be used to create an embossed effect.

 These backgrounds where then finished off with a stamp of your choice and a little sentiment stamp too.

 This weeks workshop; 

Mad Hare  

With such an adorable napkin design, Yvonne found three different ways in which to show of this cute Hare. Who wouldn't want to receive one of these cards!.    

 

Each card features the Hare design from a napkin, 4 designs have been adhered to plain white card, using a glue stick. Using these toppers as feature points, they have been die-cut, trimmed around or simply framed. 

These cards are nice and simple to create but incorporate different layers to best show of the napkin design.

 This weeks workshop; 

Spring Plaque  

Is all about mixed media, using a MDF drift wood circle plaque as a base and then lots of embellishments and decorative dies added to make a unique a beautiful home decoration (or present).   

 

To start off the ladies painted the MDF to their desired colour, using neutral tone as a base is always a good idea, as it allows you to then go bold or bright with the embellishments. The ladies then stamped onto the MDF using a simple leaf stamp in black ink. Applied the hessian onto the left and then topped with die cut leaves and flowers, which they had previously coloured using various medias including: Spray inks, Pixie powders / sparkles, Diamond frost.

 This weeks workshop; 

Eggstravaganza  

With a bright and beautiful Easter/ Spring feel, the ladies created these three cards, one of which was a brilliant shaker card, which is always sure to add that extra flare and fun.  

 

The cards focused vibrant cheerful background which were created using Pixie powders and sparkles, next Easter themed dies and borders where applied. For the shaker card, micro beads where used to make the shaker effect.
