Enchanted Trees.....

A truly beautiful stamp set designed by Sam Poole.Today we create a Hanger using the stamp set and other crafting products to give embossed background and embellishments.

The shape of the hanger is die-cut using the Spellbinders Dies - Labels Nineteen. The die-cuts are then embossed with a leaf pattern and rubbed over with Golden Light Gilding Wax.Each section is mounted together  placing the ribbon in between.Make sure to leave a loop at the top for hanging.

Each section has been decorated with stamped images brushed with Mica Powders. The flower embellishments are made with 7 scalloped circles with a brad to hold them together.Spray each layer with water and scrunch.Pull out each layer to form flower and leave to dry.

The card has been made in the same way using many of the same products.
The Tree has been stamped using Perfect Medium and then Brushed with Mica Powders. The background cardstock has been embossed with leaves and then rubbed with Gilding Wax.The corners have been inverted with a punch.Layer together onto a 6" x 6" card.Trim with Ribbon and small dots of Cosmic Shimmer PVA Pearl glue.

We have one more Workshop before Christmas , so why not stop by next week to take a look at what we have created.

Another enjoyable workshop this morning.

Our ladies had fun making Decoupaged Christmas Cards.

This is the decoupage sheet we used to create the toppers for the cards.

Lay a mask  over a piece of black card, secure and ink through with a Perfect Medium Pad.Remove mask and brush with Mica Pigment powders. The green doily effect is 4 die-cut corners from the Sue Wilson French Collection die set (CED2102)

It is hard to see ,but the white cardstock has been embossed with small dots and then a die-cut Frame ,cut from Silver Mirri card, has been laid over the top.The card is trimmed with the decoupaged topper and a Red Gingham Bow.

We hope you have enjoyed looking at the cards we have made.
We will be posting more shortly.

Another Christmas Workshop today..........

the ladies had great fun stamping , embossing and sanding this morning. They made the following two cards which I think are lovely.

We used Bla Bla George Stamp by Molly Bloom for this card.He sits perfectly on the front of the card. The background has been embossed using coredinations card and then sanded bringing through the colour underneath. The toppers have been die-cut using a Marianne Creatable die - Window and Sign.

This easel card is lovely in the rustic colours. I love Snow clear stamp from Marianne Designs makes a great centre piece on the card.Again we have embossed the background with bubbles. The foilage has been die-cut using a Tattered Lace die in two colours then they have been mixed and matched .

A Nordic Christmas......

We have been busy again. This week we have made these cards using Woodware Clear stamps with a Nordic theme.

The bauble has been stamped 6 times.Die-cut 5 of them with a circle the size of the bauble. The other one is for the inside of the card.Take 4 of the die-cut circles fold the in half and glue back to back. This is glued in place on the front of the acetate (in line with the bauble that is inside the card) and the other die-cut you have left is glued on the other side of the acetate so it become neat and tidy covering the folds.

What lovely dimension, but will fold flat to fit into an envelope.

This is a lovely card .We have stamped the Dove onto white cardstock using Perfect Medium Ink pad and then covered with White embossing powder and heated with Heatgun. The cardstock is then sprayed  with a Cosmic Shimmer Mister .We used Artic Blue but there are  other colours with are all wonderful.Leave to dry or dry with a Heatgun. Once dry - die-cut your desired shape .We have used a Sue Wilson die -Vienna (ced2205).The edges have also been embossed  using silver embossing powder .

The border has been die-cut from white cardstock using again a Sue Wilson die - Austrian Corner,Border and Tag set (ced2202).Overlay the die-cut border onto a strip of cardstock which again has been sprayed with the Cosmic Shimmer Mister.Trim to shape and cut to the width of your card.

Christmas Cards and Tags using Toppers and other Techniques.

Same look but different colour schemes make these cards and tags adorable.

Our ladies enjoyed the workshops .Some attending both days.

The Holly layer has been created in a similar way but instead of embossing powder dust over with Cosmic Shimmer Mica Powders.
