Hark the Herald Sings

Angels for Christmas Cards are wonderful and here we have used a silhouette cling stamp from Creative Expressions.Stamped in Black on an Oval die-cut with inked edges. The background paper is a copy of the carol "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" mounted onto green cardstock.  We have trimmed the card with die-cut flowers inked to complement the colour scheme and some punched Holly

Same stamp ,different look !
Here we have cut out a circle from the backing paper and the same size circle from white card and then inlaid the white circle in the backing paper to create the background. This has been mounted onto dark blue cardstock and stamped with the Angel in blue.We have edges the circle with Cosmic shimmer glitter jewels for that added sparkle which is hard to see in the picture.

We have trimmed the card with dark blue ribbon ,Sentiment Topper and snowflakes.

Vintage Christmas

Hello Crafters, just want to share with you the cards our ladies have made today in the workshop. With the above card we have diverted away from the traditional Red and Green and gone for Shades of Grey and Yellow. We have picked out the yellow in the Tartan card and coloured our cardstock to match using Distress Ink Pad - Scattered Straw then the corners have been die-cut using a Marianne Creatables Die LR0255. For the Window we have used a Marianne Craftable Die CR1259 .This has also been inked with distress ink pad - Scattered Straw before removing the die-cut from the stencil.

Embossed backgrounds,Die-cut Labels and Die-cut Elements make up this much more traditional card.We embossed the beige background using a Spellbinders Mbossabilities Folder -Floral Labels Four (E3D-009).You will see that there is a blank area which co-ordinates with the Spellbinders Nestabilities - Labels Four (S4-190) so we have die-cut a frame and an image from a cutting sheet.
We have trimmed the card with die-cut embellishments from Cottage Cutz dies - Ornate Poinsettia (CC4X4-423) and Winter Pine Branch (CCE-045).
More cards next week!

What an enjoyable morning Crafting .We made Nostalgic Christmas Cards with Cutting sheets ,Marianne Creatable Dies ,Lea'bilities Cutting and Embossing dies and Embossed background papers.

This beautiful card is so delicate. We made the frame using two die-cuts using Marianne Creatable die - Petra's Bridge.Die-cut ,Emboss and  ink through the die before removing cardstock from die.Cut out the flourishes at the top and the two arcs at the bottom.Arrange and glue together to form frame. This can then be mounted over an image.Embellish the card with ribbon , pearls and flowers.

The frame and the trees were created in the same way as the first card. This card is in more traditional colours with the red and green.Embellish the card with ribbon and pearls.
