What a morning!

The ladies had a wonderful time making this Bookmark Card and Decorative Box in the workshop.The delightful toppers,bookmarks and background card compliment each other beautifully.

The card is A5 with two background layers in Gold Mirri and Blue Feather card.The front pocket which houses the Bookmark is made from cardstock  11.5cm x 20cm. Take the piece of cardstock (portrait) mark top and bottom 1cm and 1.5cm in from outside edge,score these 4 lines.Turn the cardstock 90 degrees and mark top and bottom 1cm and 1.5cm in from one end only,score both lines.This should give you 6 score lines.Cut off corners,fold score lines to create pocket.You can leave the pocket as it is and decorate or you can measure and cut an aperture from the middle.The size of aperture shown is 5.5cm x 15.5cm which allow the bookmark to show through.Secure to the front of the card by gluing the flaps at the back of the pocket.

The Bookmark measurements are 8cm x 18.5cm , 7.5cm x 18cm ,7cm x 17.5cm and then the Bookmark topper is adhered on top.Punch a hole in the centre at the top and thread ribbon through.

What a lovely box to keep your card in.

 It can be kept as a keepsake or given as a gift.

The Snoesjes

The Snoesjes is a series of cute characters. Since 2009 Hetty Meeuwsen has designed these boys and girls who can be coloured  in all colours of the rainbow. For those who love stamping these little girls are just wonderful. Snoesjes are always dressed in for every occasion whether it's summer, winter or Christmas.  Collect them all!


Here we have used the Garland Girl on two Easel cards.One is an A6 Easel card and the other is an Easel Stepper Card.

You will need two A4 sheets of cardstock to make this shape card.Cut both pieces 297mm x 150mm. Take one piece and score in half making a 6" square card,open it out and the score one half of the card in half.

Fold both score lines so you have a triangle.Take the other piece of cardstock and score in half and then open it out,working from the outside edge ,mark top and bottom at intervals 3 1/2 cm , 7 cm and 11cm and score these lines.Fold score lines working from the outside edge starting with a mountain fold.Stick this piece to the base . Glue the flap which only sticks to the bottom half of the back panel.

   

We have used distress ink pads to colour the Snoesjes stamped image, but this shape of card can be used for any occasion especially Christmas.

       

This card is the A6 Easel Card, which will fit an A6 expandable envelope or you could make a box.

Marianne Design "Snoesjes"

We thought we would share with you these two pretty cards using the Marianne Snoesjes clear stamps.The stamped images have been coloured using Distress Ink Pads but you can use any medium.

    

These are just two of the Snoesjes Stamps in the collection of four.Why not collect all four of these delightful Little Girl Stamps.Examples of the others will be along shortly.

           

These two cards have been stamped using Versafine - Onyx Black and coloured using Sprectrum Noir pens.

Owl Family

These cards would make lovely New Home or Birthday Cards.Die-cut Trees and Stamped Owls peeping through and not behaving give a little naughtiness to this card. 

The main card is A6 with a stamped A6 piece of cardstock attached at 90 degrees.This will fit a 6" x 6" envelope.

 

Again the baby Owl is being naughty up in the tree as the others rest on the bench.

Oh Baby!

Wonderful Baby cards created using the Marianne Design Creatable dies - Pram and Border.
The background and borders have been Embossed and Die-cut from Centura Pearl Card - Snow White.It is had to see from the picture above ,but it give a lovely sheen when you turn the card.

The stepper card is made from an A4 piece of cardstock.With the cardstock landscape,mark top and bottom from left hand side at intervals 3cm,6cm,10.5cm,15cm and 21cm.Mountain and Valley fold and trim off any excess.These cards can be used for any occassion.
