With this ring,I thee Wed...

We want to share with you this lovely Wedding door hanger.Marianne Designs have some wonderful clear stamps and here we have chosen Don and Daisy -Just Married.The stamped image has been coloured using Distress Ink Pads and the hanger has been decorated using a selection of punched and die-cut shapes.The flower embellishments have also been made using a Marianne Designs Die- the flowers are rolled up from the outside edge and glued in the centre.A cluster of three adds that finishing touch.

We have used the same clear stamp Don and Daisy -Just Married,but we have also used a Marianne die to embellish the card along with die-cut flowers made in the same way as the ones on the door hanger.

I want to ride my Bicycle....

Yesterday our ladies in the workshop was using the Marianne Creatables Die - Vintage Bicycle to create two cards.One for the men and the other for the ladies.

Here we have cut and folded double-sided cardstock to make a frame .(For a 6" square card cut the cardstock 14cm x 14cm ,measure in from the outside edges at 1 1/2 cm intervals and draw 4 squares,emboss these squares and then cut diagonally both ways to the outside square then fold back each section contertina style. Glue down each layer .)Back frame with co-ordinating paper or cardstock.

Embossed metal foil adds a touch of luxury.We found that it is best to use Wax Paper when die-cutting the Bicycle as the spokes of the wheels are very intricate and the wax paper will release it much easier from the die.

This card is in monochrome,but it would work in any colour scheme.We made a photo pocket using the Spellbinders Marvelous Squares,a border using the Martha Stewart border punch-Doily Lace and a Vintage Bicycle die-cut.

Dreaming

Marianne designs have recently lauched some delightful stamps .There are four designs but we have used just one to create a never ending card which is fun and we have also used the same stamp for a square card.

Never ending cards are a great way of using up all your odd pieces of paper and cardstock.You can make them yourselves quite easily as the ladies who attended the workshop this week did or if you are not that adventurous then you can buy them precut and prescored for you.

Vintage Ladies

One sheet of A Ladies Diary by Graphic 45 can go a long way.We have made two cards and four notelets with the sheet of toppers and some to spare.

Making a collage can create an elegant card.We have also used a Marianne Design Craftable Die for the Flower embellishment and the Lacey underlay.

The above card would be ideal for Weddings and Anniversaries.

It is hard to see, but we have created a pocket using the Elegant Lady Topper where you can pop a Notelet or two so your card then becomes a gift.

Metal embellishments by Creative Expressions add that Vintage touch.

This week we have been using the Woodware Clear Stamp - Victorian Spray to make a Card and a Tag and we want to share them with you.Enjoy!

Images stamped onto acetate make lovely toppers when laid over patterned background paper.Here we have used Mericurial Materpiece from the Graphic 45 Old Curiosity Shoppe Collection.Wonderful neutral tones.

Using the same stamp we have created a Tag.

The leaves have been stamped several times on different cardstock,cut out and used to embellish the tag.
